Job Summary:

The Sr. Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of electrical components, including circuit boards, cables, and other electronic assemblies. This will involve using a range of inspection tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical inspection principles and practices, as well as experience working with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and verify the quality of electrical components, including circuit boards, cables, and other electronic assemblies.
  • Use a range of inspection tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
  • Review and verify incoming documentation from suppliers, including material traceability, test reports, and certificates of conformity.
  • Document inspection activities using electronic information systems and written logs.
  • Collaborate with program Quality Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with electrical inspection and quality assurance in aerospace/defense, electronics contract manufacturing, and/or high precision machining.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards, as well as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
