Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial operations, including financial reporting, accounting record maintenance, and implementation of sound financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, properly accounting for all income and expenses
  • Analysis and challenge of financial results, including variance analysis
  • Support accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
  • Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures, and make change recommendations
  • Accounting system, chart of account, and cost center maintenance
  • Comply with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filing
  • Maintenance and development of internal controls, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Production of client financial statements in accordance with contract requirements
  • Assist in the creation of insightful financial reporting for presentation to management
  • Support budget and forecast processes
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as required
  • Support ad hoc projects and change activity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Current knowledge of accounting processes and systems, with a curiosity to drive continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation
