Job Title: Medication Technician for Personal Care
Department: Personal Care Services
Status: Part-Time & Flexible/Pool
Compensation: Experience-based pay for Full & Part-Time positions starting at $18/hour. Flexible/Pool positions are compensated at $20.50/hour plus shift differentials of $2 for evenings, $1.50 for nights, and an additional $1 for weekends.

As a Medication Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with admissions, transfers, discharges, and end-of-life procedures
- Maintaining daily records for residents, including weights and vital signs, in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies
- Administering medications to residents as outlined by the medication administration procedures and physician orders
- Assisting residents or families who choose to utilize alternative pharmacies
- Responding promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including phone calls and inquiries from family, friends, visitors, or other staff members
Qualifications for this role at Frederick Living:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Must possess medication administration certification or be willing to obtain certification upon hire, along with completing a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually
- Preferred experience in providing care for elderly individuals with cognitive impairments
