Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Health Specialist to join our team at the City of New York. This role will involve providing comprehensive care and support to women and their families, with a focus on promoting healthy behaviors and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess physical, emotional, and social needs of women and their families.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes.
  • Counsel and educate women and their families on prenatal and postpartum care, nutrition, parenting, and childcare.
  • Link women and families with community resources and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from a regionally-accredited college or university, and a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in maternal/child health, pediatric health, or a closely related field.

A license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State is also required. Additionally, a Motor Vehicle Driver license valid in the State of New York may be required for certain assignments.
