Role Overview:

As a Principal Consultant, you will be instrumental in providing high-level consultative support on actuarial initiatives. Your expertise will serve as a critical resource for our regional teams, ensuring that we meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert consulting on various actuarial projects.
  • Act as a regional subject-matter expert, addressing inquiries from the consulting community.
  • Collaborate with client teams, ensuring the quality of deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication and manage project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying future business opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts and assist in client presentations under the guidance of an Engagement Manager.
  • Enhance Allianz Popular SL's expertise in strategic development areas.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, contributing to knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in operational business or management consulting.
  • Proven experience in project management, change management, or business transformation.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and task prioritization.
  • A passion for working within a diverse, international team environment.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in presentation and report preparation.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including complex functions.
  • Interest or background in insurance, financial services, and consulting methodologies.

Additional Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of actuarial experience, ideally in consulting roles.
  • Experience in Actuarial Pricing, Risk Capital Calculation, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and Solvency II standards is advantageous.
  • Professional Actuary Certification or a commitment to pursue actuarial qualifications.
