Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Therapy Plans

Develop comprehensive therapy plans to address the unique needs of each patient, including speech, language, and communication disorders.

Evaluate and Assess Patients

Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and communication abilities, and identify areas for improvement.

Provide Individualized Therapy

Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and speech development.

Document Progress and Update Records

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including treatment plans, progress reports, and outcome measures.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams

Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology

A Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required for this position.

Experience in Speech Therapy

A minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy is required, with a strong background in evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Strong Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide effective care and support.

Ability to Work Independently

You will be working independently to develop and implement therapy plans, evaluate patients, and provide individualized therapy sessions.
