Escrow Processor

The Escrow Processor plays a vital role in the real estate transaction process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transfer of ownership. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to ensure all parties are informed and on track.
• Verify the accuracy of property records, including ownership, liens, and easements, to ensure a clear title.
• Research and verify documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements.
• Enter and submit title documents into Qualia, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Work with the title examiner to prepare the title insurance policy and collaborate with the closer to prepare real estate settlement statements and Closing Disclosures.
• Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to ensure all underwriting commitments have been satisfied.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience with real estate transactions, title processing, and title company pre-processing is desired.

• Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills.

• Computer proficiency with numerous programs, including MS Office, is needed.
