Job Title: Escrow Processor

Highly Regarded Title Agency is seeking a skilled Escrow Processor to facilitate the real estate transaction process. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of title transfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to coordinate the necessary steps for closing.
  • Verify the accuracy of property records, including ownership, liens, and easements, with attention to detail and a thorough understanding of documents.
  • Research and verify documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements to produce a clear title.
  • Enter and submit title documents into Qualia, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Work with the title examiner to prepare the title insurance policy and collaborate with the closer to prepare real estate settlement statements and Closing Disclosures.
  • Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with the loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to confirm all underwriting commitments have been satisfied.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate transactions, title processing, and title company pre-processing desired.
  • Superb research, communication, customer service, and analysis skills.
  • Computer proficiency with numerous programs, including MS Office.
