Produce Department Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for produce team members, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with team leaders and store trainers to schedule new member training and ensure timely completion of new member connections.
- Operational Support: Facilitate team-specific operational training, including operational learning pathways and team-specific program rollouts.
- Customer Service: Train team members on customer service standards and provide timely feedback to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Product Knowledge: Train team members on new products, their differentiation, sales tactics, and department placement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care, use, and maintenance of all team equipment and PPE.
- Record Keeping: Organize, track, report, and maintain accurate training records using Whole Foods Market's learning systems.
- Experience: 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience or equivalent retail training experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, and passion for high-quality foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.
