Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Light Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Stokes Toyota of Hilton Head. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines in light-duty vehicles, including trucks, vans, and SUVs
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve engine problems
  • Ensure compliance with safety and emissions regulations
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Light Duty Diesel Mechanic, specializing in diesel engine repair
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems
  • ASE Diesel Engine Certification or equivalent is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
