Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Stokes Toyota of Hilton Head.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines in light-duty vehicles, including trucks, vans, and SUVs. They will also perform routine maintenance, conduct thorough inspections, and utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve engine problems.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines in light-duty vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve engine problems
• Ensure compliance with safety and emissions regulations
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specializing in diesel engine repair
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems
• ASE Diesel Engine Certification or equivalent is highly preferred
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
