Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family and Youth Specialist to join our team at Texas Panhandle Centers. As a key member of our staff, you will provide direct care to families and youth, working to promote healthy relationships and support individual growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Family Support Specialist: Provide direct care to families and youth, including screening and assessment, crisis intervention, and implementation of evidence-based curriculums.
  • Case Management: Develop and implement individualized plans to support families and youth in achieving their goals.
  • Community Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with community partners to provide resources and support to families and youth.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to regional areas of the Texas Panhandle as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: From an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience working with at-risk youth and families, with a focus on behavioral health case management.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy.
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Licensure: Relevant licensure or certification in a related field.
