Role Summary:
The Distribution Specialist plays a vital role within the Supply Chain Operations team, tasked with overseeing and ensuring the maintenance of supplies and patient care equipment.
Your responsibilities will include addressing and fulfilling requests and inquiries, directly contributing to exceptional health care experiences for MultiCare patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify materials and documentation against purchase orders and input purchase order receipts.
- Collaborate with Purchasing personnel to resolve any discrepancies related to purchase orders or receipts.
- Package and process returns of supplies and materials to vendors or other facilities, coordinating shipping as necessary.
- Manage stock supplies within the designated Distribution Storeroom location.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service, or Inventory Control preferred (or a combination of relevant knowledge and education).
- Experience with computer input and keyboarding is desired.
- Familiarity with Computerized Materials Management systems is preferred.
- Experience using electronic signature software is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in PC business applications, including MS Word and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $28.14 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience level, and education.
