Eaton, a leading global manufacturer of electrical power management solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electrical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Verify that products are manufactured in accordance with applicable governmental requirements and customer specifications
- Document inspections and non-conformances, and communicate with production teams to resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and process enhancements
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and training programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, such as UL and NEC
- Experience with quality control software and systems
