We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Catalina Island Medical Center. As a Radiology and CT Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary

This is a per diem opportunity that requires flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray and CT examinations, selecting appropriate equipment and adjusting technical factors as needed.
  • Instruct and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring precise positioning and radiation safety.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media for certain examinations.
  • Complete required documentation, including imaging requests, patient information, and consent forms.
  • Manage radiologist's reports, ensuring accurate transmission and distribution.
  • Maintain CT facilities and equipment, adhering to quality standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A current CA ARRT and CRT license.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of theories, principles, and techniques of diagnostic imaging.
  • Strong ability to position patients for various diagnostic examinations.
