Responsibilities- Provide Medical Care: Plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs, examining and treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses.
- Order and Interpret Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care and maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Provide Referrals: Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
- Maintain Patient Records: Ensure patient medical records are kept up to date and accurate.
- Active State License: Hold an active state Nurse Practitioners license.
- National Board Certification: Possess current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
- Active DEA Licensure: Hold active state DEA licensure.
- Master's Degree in Nursing: Possess a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Nursing Experience: Have five or more years of nursing experience, with at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Time Management and Accountability: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and accountability for practitioner's daily workflow.
- Medical Instrument and Equipment Proficiency: Possess proficiency in medical instruments and equipment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA Regulations: Demonstrate strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Computer-Based Data Management: Possess demonstrated proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Licensed Driver: Be a licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.
- Physical Activity: Be able to engage in moderate physical activity, such as handling objects up to 25 lbs., standing or walking for more than four hours per day, etc.
