Job Overview

Position Summary:

Deliver exceptional and attentive service to ensure a memorable dining experience for all patrons by exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and acknowledge guests, ensuring they feel at ease and informed that they are under your care.
  2. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas to uphold a welcoming environment.
  3. Complete assigned side work at the beginning and end of each shift as directed by management.
  4. Respond promptly and courteously to all guest requests.
  5. Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including promotions and special events within the establishment.
  6. Prepare and present the final bill to guests, process payments, and handle credit card transactions or adjustments as necessary.
  7. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, ensuring their needs are met.
  8. Assist fellow team members as needed to enhance service delivery.
  9. Express gratitude to guests for their visit and encourage their return.

Qualifications:

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in a similar dining environment is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Willingness to provide service and entertainment to guests in line with the expected atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and operating a register.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and exhibit organizational skills.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment while interacting with the public in a professional manner.

Certifications:

ServeSafe certification is preferred but not mandatory. TIPS training is also preferred but not required.
