Job Summary

Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pre Trial-Release Case Manager to join our team in the Onondaga County Pre Trial-Release Program. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in monitoring and assisting clients to fulfill the required release conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interviews with potential clients at the Justice Center to assess their suitability for the program.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the court, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor clients' progress, including their compliance with release conditions, educational requirements, employment, and access to drug/alcohol or mental health services.
  • Report clients' participation back to the courts and the DA's office, providing regular updates on their progress.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the program.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate degree in criminal justice or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse and troubled backgrounds.
  • The ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
