Position Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role within our engineering team, overseeing all technical operations throughout the resort. This position requires expertise in troubleshooting and repairing various systems, including electrical motors, HVAC units, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, as well as performing minor automotive repairs and painting duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical motor issues and devices.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Execute minor carpentry projects as needed.
  • Safely operate power tools, including pressure washers and compressors.
  • Address repairs related to gas-fired equipment and electronic devices, including office and audiovisual equipment.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and emergencies.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols at all times.
  • Document and communicate essential information accurately.
  • Assist in relocating objects for maintenance access.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the resort's fire, well water, septic, and irrigation systems.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a technical or maintenance role is preferred.
  • Proficient in the safe use of power tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions for mechanical equipment assembly and safety.
  • Effective communication skills in English with guests and team members.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
