Job Summary:

Talent4Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapy procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring proper imaging techniques related to patients' age and ability to understand the procedure.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results, taking appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results, and order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols and applicable regulations/standards.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.

Requirements:

  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • NYS License
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • 2 years Experience

Preferred Experience:

  • CT certified and has PE/CT experience
