Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the security of a high-profile client's facility, property, and surrounding campus for a designated shift. Your duties will include general security duties as directed in the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, as specified in post orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Making emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
  • Providing direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties
  • Cross-training officers to make them more versatile and run site efficiently
  • Making productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
  • Making recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
  • Making recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under their direct supervision
  • Overseeing staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officer assigned to his/her shift.
  • Ensuring that contract required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
  • Maintaining overtime to minimum or to a predefined level designated by Allied Universal
  • Ensuring quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • A High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A current and valid driver's license
  • One or more of the following qualifications:
    • An Associate's degree of higher in any discipline
    • Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
    • Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
    • A minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experiences
  • A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating the following:
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • The ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergency situations
    • The capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, and of composing reports

Estimated Salary: $20.78 per hour based on location and industry standards.
