Tuscany Village Nursing Center - LPN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns to meet the needs of residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Identify and secure necessary equipment and supplies to ensure the delivery of quality care.
  • Direct and oversee subordinate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the nursing department.
  • Participate in duty assignments and contribute to the overall success of the facility.
  • Organize and coordinate the work of subordinate staff to ensure the delivery of quality care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff and provide feedback and training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and document accidents and incidents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Previous skilled nursing experience.
  • Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
