Job Summary:

As the Director of Radiology Services at AdventHealth Tampa, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging department, ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining a highly engaged workforce. This role requires a strong leader who can promote a culture of excellence, establish expectations, and maintain consistency through accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of CT, MR, Ultrasound, Nursing, Nuclear Medicine, Mobile PET/CT, Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Imaging Nursing Services, Radiation Oncology, and Internal Transport departments.
Use skills and expertise to provide risk management with accurate information through review and research of confidential clinical information.
Demonstrate positive professional work ethic in regard to timely communication, attendance at scheduled meetings, and participation in leadership opportunities to support the hospital mission.
Promote a culture of excellence by establishing expectations and maintaining consistency through accountability.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining cost-effective operations management.
Use human resources management skills to oversee a diverse population of staff supervisors of respective modalities, including hiring and terminations.

Requirements:

Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Minimum seven (7) years of hospital-based clinical experience.
Minimum three (3) years of leadership/supervisory/lead tech experience.
State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist License.
ARRT (R) or NMTCB Certification.
