As a Certified Mental Health Support Specialist at Spring Life Behavioral Care LLC, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with serious mental illnesses. Your primary responsibility will be to provide supervision to peer support paraprofessionals and facilitate services that aid consumers in regaining independence within their communities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement person-centered plans in collaboration with consumers and treatment team members.
- Cases management, including arranging, linking, or integrating multiple services and reassessing consumer needs for services.
- Implement interventions outlined in the Person Centered Plan, focusing on skills development, educational, and pre-vocational activities.
- Inform consumers about benefits, community resources, and services, assisting them in accessing these benefits and services.
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in a field of health, behavioral health, rehabilitation, human services, human development, education, social sciences, criminal justice, administration, management, organizational development, information management, business, or a related field or discipline.
- Three years of experience gathering and analyzing data for quality management, quality assurance, and/or quality improvement for a human services provider agency, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Certification as a Peer Specialist in the State of North Carolina.
