Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Florida Land Fund Management LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by performing routine maintenance repairs, painting, and other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance repairs, painting, and other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the exterior and interior of the property.
  • Ensure lighting replacement and trash maintenance of outside grounds.
  • Comply with all training requirements set forth for this position.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
  • Experience in maintenance in the property management industry or similar industry.
  • Ability to interact well with co-workers, supervisors, guests, vendors, contractors, residents, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Good organizational and verbal skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Working Environment:

  • Constantly outdoors, in all weather conditions, often for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently indoors in all weather conditions that may make the environment uncomfortable.
  • Occasional exposure to paint fumes, solvents, and adhesives.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant need to be on feet (66% to 100%).
  • Constant need to perform the following physical activities (66% to 100%): bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull, and standing and walking.
  • Occasional need to work in awkward confining positions.

Driving Requirements:

  • Occasional need to utilize personal transportation to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors.
  • Ability to be on-call and be on the property on short notice.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and car registration if driving for business purposes.
