Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Administer and document medications and treatments as required.
  • Prepare for and assist healthcare providers with diagnostic tests and treatments.
  • Provide support and health education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with team members in planning, executing, and assessing nursing care and patient activities.
  • Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for patients.
  • Monitor and report on patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations of patients' responses to the nursing care provided.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Assist with unit management and/or take charge of the unit as needed.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse:

  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (Preferred)

Licensure:

  • Current RN License (Required)
