We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Greystone Health Care Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supporting the overall well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide nursing care for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their comfort is maintained.
- Supervise and guide clinical staff members, providing training and support as needed.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians, documenting all actions and reactions.
- Ensure supplies are utilized efficiently and equipment is maintained in a safe and clean manner.
- Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures, working collaboratively with other departments.
- Interview applicants and recommend hires, participating in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff as needed.
- Supervise the nursing unit, scheduling and directing nursing staff as permitted by state practice act.
- Maintain inventory and supplies on the unit, communicating needs for housekeeping, maintenance, or dietary assistance.
- Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- One year experience in nursing preferred.
- Leading market wages starting at $23-$33 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.
