Asphalt Screed Operator Position Available

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Screed Person to join A.C. Moate Industries, Inc.'s team.

This role involves operating and controlling asphalt paver screed sides to ensure proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and efficient asphalt distribution and leveling during paving operations.
  • Monitor and adjust asphalt quality to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the paving crew, equipment operators, and other team members to deliver high-quality asphalt paving results.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the screed and associated equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to the asphalt screed to optimize performance.
  • Follow strict safety protocols to promote a culture of safety within the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as an Asphalt Screed Person.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining asphalt screed equipment.
  • Understanding of asphalt paving processes, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse construction team.
  • Commitment to prioritizing safety and adhering to industry safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and weekends, as required by project demands.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour.
  • Sign-on Bonus: $1,000.
