Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Endoscopy team at Trinity Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic nursing interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) for daily care, tube feeds, dressing changes, and more.
  • Administer medications upon completion of the medication course.
  • Document patient information using the EPIC system.
  • Collaborate with an interprofessional team of registered nurses, medical social workers, care managers, nutritionists, rehabilitation services, spiritual care, and pharmacists to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing and current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of New York.
  • Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Work Environment and Hazards

This position is located in a clinical setting with exposure to Class I hazards.

Physical Demands

This role requires medium work, with the ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift a maximum of 50 pounds. The position also requires standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.

Supervision

This position is supervised by a Registered Nurse, Team Leader, Clinical Coordinator, Unit Manager, and Clinical Services/Nursing Administration.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $30.95 per hour, with pay based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
