Position Overview

The Marine Rigging Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that boats are meticulously prepared, rigged, and tested for customer satisfaction. This position is non-exempt and focuses on delivering high-quality service in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and high-quality completion of both new and pre-owned boats for customer delivery.
• Maintains a safe and environmentally responsible workspace.
• Operates and cares for company equipment with utmost safety.
• Delivers exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process.
• Installs additional options or accessories as specified on the rigging ticket.
• Accurately processes paperwork, including time reporting, in a timely manner.
• Protects the boat's interior and exterior during the preparation phase.
• Informs the Service Manager when boats are fully prepared for delivery.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area and surrounding grounds.
• Collaborates with the Parts Manager to ensure timely acquisition of necessary parts and equipment.
• Assists in the execution of boat shows and off-site events.

• Extensive experience in the installation of marine electronics is required.
• Exhibits a positive and energetic demeanor that enhances team objectives.
• Communicates effectively with Service and Parts Managers.
• Fosters a team-oriented atmosphere, supporting colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Demonstrates a commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Ensures accuracy in rigging tickets and repair orders.
• Identifies warranty work accurately.
• Possesses personal hand tools and has experience with boat or car engines.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs infrequently; role involves standing, climbing, and frequent use of hands in an outdoor environment.
