Key Responsibilities
  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental x-rays and setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, perform quality impressions and bite registrations, and support patient charting for doctors.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction and perform various office tasks as necessary.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.
