Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist PRN to join our Radiation Oncology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing treatment plans and performing dose calculations based on the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed course of radiotherapy or brachytherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design treatment plans and perform dose calculations for radiotherapy or brachytherapy
  • Record and manage patient data related to radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment
  • Assist Radiation Therapists in simulation and setup verification of treatment delivery
  • Collaborate with Medical Physicists to ensure quality management practices for patient treatment and equipment use
Requirements
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry Program
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification or board eligibility
  • Completed at least 36 months of clinical medical dosimetry experience under the direction of a certified medical dosimetrist or medical physicist
  • Completed 24 CE credits approved by the MDCB during 36 months of clinical experience
