We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Bridge Design Engineer to join our team at Modjeski and Masters. As a key member of our bridge engineering team, you will be responsible for performing engineering tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include reviewing and checking standard structural design calculations, performing structural analysis and design of bridge components, and developing preliminary details using CAD software.

You will also be responsible for providing information for design reports, performing quantity take-offs from contract plans, and reviewing and checking drawings.

Additionally, you will use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to perform your duties.

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of related bridge design experience
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
  • Ability to learn and apply relevant design specifications, including AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, and ACI
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
