Role Responsibilities

The Polysomnography Sleep Technologist is responsible for conducting thorough evaluations and treatments for sleep disorders. Key duties include:

• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions related to sleep health.
• Ensuring patient safety through proper use and maintenance of sleep lab equipment.
• Scoring sleep studies and preparing patients for assessments.
• Providing education to patients regarding sleep health and treatment options.
• Demonstrating knowledge of patient care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Registration or certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT), or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited educational program focused on sleep technology.
• Prior experience in a sleep laboratory setting.
