Role Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic culinary assistants to join our team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing all necessary ingredients and workstations to support our high-energy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to the culinary team's recipes and guidelines.
  • Perform tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and dicing various food items.
  • Measure and combine ingredients for sauces, marinades, and dressings.
  • Assist in the preparation of proteins, including meat, fish, and poultry.

  • Assist in cleaning kitchen tools and equipment as needed.
  • Follow recipes closely to maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Culinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions.
  • Basic knife skills and proficiency with kitchen tools.
  • Physical stamina to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn from the culinary team.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and a commitment to compliance.
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus.
  • Active State Food Handler Certification is required.
