Scheduling Manager Industrial Construction

The CCC Group is seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to support our growing operations in the heavy industrial sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and supervising all scheduling functions for large, complex projects or groups of medium-sized projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all planning and scheduling functions for large, complex projects or groups of medium-sized projects.
- Develop and implement project scheduling standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
- Assist in planning functions such as reviewing bid documents, creating bid schedules with work breakdown structures, and attending project pre-planning meetings.
- Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with company and client requirements.
- Provide consultation to company personnel, architects, engineers, primes, and subcontractors on planning and schedule analysis.
- Create, maintain, and update budget and resource-loaded schedules for one or more projects.
- Coordinate, supervise, and review preparation of specialty schedules, input, and progress reports.
- Develop reports and forecasts for schedule information.
- Update project schedule with approved change orders.
- Participate in project progress meetings.
- Act as liaison with clients on all matters relating to construction plan progress and look-ahead.
- Analyze schedules and generate reports for project supervision and corporate management.
- Attend meetings and site walks with other contractors, clients, and site management to review and update project schedules and assist in resolving issues.
Requirements:
- A four-year construction, engineering, or related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
- Comprehensive (ten or more years) similar construction scheduling experience.
- Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles, and practices.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
- Solid knowledge of, and experience with, one or more scheduling programs such as Primavera and MS Project.
- Proficiency with standard office software.
Working Environment:
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with possible exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and all types of weather and temperature conditions. Occasional or frequent air travel with overnight stays.
Physical Demands:
- Manual dexterity, sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Occasional climbing stairs/ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, and crouching.
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.
- Lifting and/or exerting force up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds of lifting/force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of lifting/force constantly to move objects.
- Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
