Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the ICU setting.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel nurse opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU specialty and be certified in ACLS and BLS.
Responsibilities:- Manage patients with multi-system organ failure
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Provide care pre/post cardiac catheterization/intervention
- Perform sheath removal and manage IV insulin protocols
- Support patients with chronic/acute renal failure
- Manage arterial lines and central/PICC lines
- Start IVs and administer continuous IV sedation
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Manage CVA/acute stroke, post-neurosurgery care, and traumatic brain injury cases
- Assist with management of BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilated patients
- Perform infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Handle surgical wounds with drains/Wound Vac
- Experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU specialty
- ACLS and BLS certification
- New York license required
- COVID-19 Vaccine required; medical exemptions only
- Completion of 8 Stroke CEUs
- Passing Dysrhythmia and Medication exams during credentialing with specific passing scores
