We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Travel Nurse. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings and gain valuable experience in critical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient response to therapy.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is coordinated.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or critical care.
