Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maternity Nurse Director to lead our Obstetrics team at Next Move Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the OB unit, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage the OB department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective department operations.
  • Patient Care
    • Provide leadership for patient care in maternity and newborn care settings, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to all mothers and babies.
    • Collaborate with the CNO and hospital leadership to improve patient care and staff performance.
  • Staff Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
    • Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of progressive nursing experience, demonstrating principles of nursing practice, judgment, and supervisory abilities.
  • Certifications
    • Current licensure to practice as an RN by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
