Job Overview

ALbert Energy, a leading material solution provider to automotive interior trim manufacturers, seeks a Product Engineer to drive the development, scale, and launch of soft interior trim products. This role involves technical collaboration with customers to ensure alignment with OEM specifications and feasibility assessments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers to determine optimal inspection, packaging, and testing requirements for new products. They will also develop specifications for material properties based on statistical analysis and handle negotiations with customers. Additionally, they will attend product validation trials at customer sites and drive subsequent trials and improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical review of customer requirements in relation to OEM specifications
  • Determine feasibility and capability of new products
  • Develop specifications for material properties based on statistical analysis
  • Engage with customers to determine optimal inspection, packaging, and testing requirements
  • Negotiate with customers and attend product validation trials at customer sites
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum 4-year degree in Textiles, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering or relevant major. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing is required, along with experience using statistical software such as JMP/Minitab & Access. Six Sigma certification is a plus. You should also have experience with soft materials and dynamic material testing.

What We Offer

As a Product Engineer at ALbert Energy, you can expect a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on your experience. Additionally, we offer benefits including three weeks of paid vacation, medical/dental insurance, 401K Retirement Savings Plan, relocation assistance, and more.
