Job Summary

Origis Energy is seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and installing equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair solar power plants, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to ensure proper working order
  • Document work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules
  • Manage inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Maintain high-quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materials
  • Train, mentor, and develop laborers into apprentices
  • Ensure continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
  • 3 years suitable employment experience; High aptitude and a strong work ethic is a must
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
  • Job Level: Solar Technician 2 - Solar Technician 4
  • Hourly Rate: $20 - $45/hour
  • Location: Cuba, NM
