Job Overview

PET Dairy is seeking experienced industrial maintenance technicians to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance of our production and facility assets. The technician will be tasked with maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment across various systems, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic.

COMPENSATION: $30 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift / Sunday - Thursday / 11pm - 7:30am / Saturdays every 3 weeks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining all production and facility assets in a safe and efficient manner. Key duties include:

  • Conducting both planned and unplanned maintenance on production and utility systems to ensure continuous operation.
  • Responding promptly to emergency repair situations.
  • Interpreting technical documents, including service manuals and schematics, to perform necessary maintenance.
  • Executing preventative maintenance checks and utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Supporting line manufacturing systems, including chemical and ingredient delivery systems.
  • Completing work orders efficiently while adhering to high-quality standards.
  • Utilizing various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, in daily tasks.
  • Maintaining effective communication with other departments and reporting any production efficiency concerns.
  • Documenting maintenance activities accurately and in compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting in inventory management of parts and supplies.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements with a focus on continuous enhancement.
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Following all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings required
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food and beverage
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems is a plus
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use hand tools
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions and flexible hours
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
