Occupational Therapist Job Description

ACDS Pelham is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children with a wide range of disabilities and delays, providing remediation and support to help them reach their maximum potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide and direct occupational therapy services to students as per their IEP mandates.
  • Develop treatment plans to achieve identified goals.
  • Work collaboratively with SLPs, PTs, school psychologists, behavioral team, and classroom staff to provide positive treatment outcomes.
  • Work effectively with parents, teaching staff, and other professionals involved in the care and treatment of the child.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Participate in meetings and consultations with education staff and the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
  • Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited program.
  • NPI number.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.
