Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to support one of our largest material handling clients in Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial manufacturing and automation, with experience in designing and implementing production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze downtime reports to identify root causes and develop solutions to increase productivity
  • Lead projects to plan, procure, integrate, and install production equipment in assembly areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and automation
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, or associate degree in a technical field with applicable experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, with a focus on automation and process improvement
  • Strong technical skills in Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Catia, and experience with CNC machining and industrial assembly processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
