Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at Northwest Chevrolet of Bellingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be ASE certified.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Vehicle Repairs: Efficiently complete work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Diagnostic and Testing: Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • System Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needs and provide estimates for additional repairs.
  • Warranty Repairs: Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
  • Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
  • Qualifications: B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Skills: Dexterity, mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, excellent customer service skills, and basic computer competencies.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive, friendly attitude, eagerness to improve, ability to learn new technology, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
