Program Supervisor Opportunity

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Program Supervisor to join our Northside Community Support (NCSP) Team. This supervisory position is responsible for the supervision, selection, and training of assigned staff. The Program Supervisor will provide program oversight to ensure that services meet the standards of People Incorporated and any licensing bodies, and are delivered in a manner consistent with the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.

About the Role

The Program Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values, as well as program and organizational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Supervising the work of assigned program staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper procedures.
  • Attracting, hiring, orienting, and retaining high-quality staff.
  • Providing training, assessing strengths and development needs, and providing timely and specific feedback on job duties, company policies, and best practices.
  • Partnering with staff on identifying and developing professional goals that encourage and support professional growth within the organization.
  • Coordinating staff meetings and program scheduling, ensuring proper coverage occurs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in the behavioral sciences or a related field (i.e., social work, psychology, or nursing from an accredited college or university).
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral science/related field, a high school diploma and four years or 8,000 hours of experience in mental health services may be substituted.
  • One year or 2,000 hours of prior experience in the human services field with a preference towards servicing those with mental health symptoms, or completion of People Incorporated's Link to Leadership program.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Completion of the People Incorporated's Link to Leadership Program.
  • A Master's degree in a related field.
  • Two years prior supervisory experience in the delivery of behavioral health services.
  • Candidates who hold an active and unrestricted license in the State of Minnesota (LAMFT, LGSW, LADC, LSW, or LPC).
