Residential Program Supervisor

Opportunity Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Job Summary:The Residential Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals and providing support to individuals with disabilities in our group homes. This includes assisting with daily living skills, promoting independence, and facilitating community participation.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a team of Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality care and support for individuals with disabilities.
- Assist individuals with daily living skills, such as meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking.
- Promote independence and community participation through education and training.
- Collaborate with the program manager to ensure effective staffing and scheduling.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on individual support needs and health requirements.
- Desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Meet the qualifications of a Designated Coordinator (see below).
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities.
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities.
- A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution, and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities.
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services, education, or health, and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to individuals with disabilities.
