Phlebotomy Specialist

Heartland Women's Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our clinical and laboratory team on a part-time basis. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our obstetrical and gynecological patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect laboratory specimens and report results accurately and efficiently.
- Administer oral solutions as required by laboratory and clinic procedures.
- Verify patient identification information matches test request information consistently.
- Process specimens, including labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
- Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process billing and insurance information.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic personnel.
- Assist with inventory management, sanitization, and other non-patient facing duties.
- Maintain phlebotomy logs and ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Excellent communication and computer navigation skills.
