Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure exceptional guest service and financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Train Team Members: Supervise and train Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure they meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Room Inventory and Inspection: Assess and assign inventory for cleaning, inspect rooms, and verify status and/or discrepancies.
  • Payroll and Scheduling: Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms, and carts.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.
  • Guest Service: Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven ability to lead and supervise a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, guests, and other departments.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations.
