Maintenance Team Lead Job Description

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily tasks of the maintenance team, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of controls and mechanisms, including PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with remote IO design and operation, robot programming and troubleshooting, and AC/DC drive motor operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Heavy walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Required to bend at the knees and waist.

Education:

  • Degree in technical field is a plus, but not required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Broad knowledge of OSHA and workplace environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical guidance and support to maintenance team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands:
